What Does Sharp Pain On The Left Side Of The Ribcage Indicate?

I’ve been having this sharp pain on my left side under ribs (closer to the midline) and radiates down my left side towards my back (about where my kidney would be), it gets worse if I breathe in too deep. I just noticed that when I layed down and cracked my back the pain pretty much went and I’m not sure what to do because the pain has been on and off all day.
