What Does Sharp Pain On The Right Side Of The Navel Indicate?

I was running in the gym in P.E. and I slammed into this rubber guard thing HARD and it knocked the wind out of me. My vision went blurry, my ears were ringing, and I could hardly breathe. That passed and for the rest of the day I ve been feeling a sharp pain in my lower abdomen on the right side of my bellybutton and I ve been having to pee and when I do pee about 5 minutes later I have to pee again. What s going on?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Since you have sustained and abdominal trauma, it would be good to get an abdominal ultrasound examination to rule internal organ injury. If the injury is only of the abdominal wall, which also can be diagnosed in the USG, rest is what is required, till complete pain relief. If the USG shows internal organ injury, pl;ease do consult a gastro-surgeon for advise and management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
