What Does Sharp Pain Under The Ribcage On The Left Side Indicate?
Hello; My 11 yr old just woke up in tears from a severe sharp pain under the front of his left ribcage. He had a hard time breathing in. After laying flat or standing up it continues but at a lesser grade. It hurts when you touch the area. He does not have a fever. His skin tone over his body is pale. His left leg was hurting him as well today only, seems like a strained muscle because His leg feels sore when he flexes his foot. He did not get any injuries at all. He also is kinda clingly to me, which only happens when he is not feeling the best or emotionally down. He is a overweight by nature. He tested high for cholesterol a few weeks ago. But he eats well, drinks a glass of water before meals, etc. It is genetic mostly. Any thoughts?
