What Does Sharp Tingling Discomfort In Calf And Knee Indicate?

i have been having sharp almost tingling discomfort in my upper right calf and wraps around somewhat to front of lower part of knee. No Swelling. Then the ankle will tend to tingle as well. The only reason I m concerned is because I had a PE about 7 years ago?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
A history of pulmonary embolism (PE) in past raises the possibility of developing deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in lower limbs.
Although, tingling sensation is not characteristic of DVT but any sensation should be taken seriously.
DVT usually causes pain in lower limb, however, you may consult your doctor for clinical assessment to rule out DVT.
A doppler ultrasound of lower limb should be done to look for any evidence of DVT.

Thanks and take care
