What Does Sinking Feeling In A Person With Insulin Resistance Indicate?

Hi, I have recently been diagnosed as insulin resistant but I am on the borderline between normal and high on my labs. I have been working to lose weight and eat right and drink more fluids and exercise. Generally I have felt better. I did just have a sinking feeling for a minute but it has gone away for the most part. Could it be from my insulin resistance and if so, given that I worked out today and have not eaten that much (breakfast sandwich for breakfast, banana for mid morning snack and some almonds, then walked 15 minutes on treadmill at 3.2 mph pace and and lifted some nautilus weights on chest and legs, then sandwich and a few chips for lunch, with coffee, 1/2 can of Sprite and water for beverages), would a sudden sinking feeling be attributed to the insulin resistance and should I eat something with sugar or just drink more water?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The sinking feeling with condition of insulin resistance indicates possible development of hypoglycemia via low blood sugar level. Though there will be help with some sugar candy or other glucose containing products for time being relief. It is best recommended to get evaluated for the level of HBA1c, fasting blood sugar and postprandial blood sugar.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
