What Does Small Lump On Neck Imply?

Hello I am 52 years old and about a month ago noticed a small lump on my neck just above my collar bone. It is not tender to the touch but when pressing I can kind of feel another one smaller near it. I feel fine, but I did have an allergic reaction and flu like symptons within the last couple of months.
Is this something to be concerned about, I am stationed with the government in Germany but will be back in the states, Texas in August and hopefully will have time to get it checked.

Hi,Welcome with your query to HCM virtual Clinic.
I reviewed all the details of your query,in context of the small 2 lumps above collar bone with feverish feel for few months.

Based on the facts of your query,You seem to have 2 neck lympnodes above collar bone with URTI with flue like symptoms.
These lumps could be due infective URTI / or could be due to TB adenitis.
To rule out these possibilities you need to get the Complete blood test/ESR/Interferron Gamma-release assay(IGRA) for latent TB infection.Possibility of NHL/ HL lymphom needs to be ruled out by CT and FNAC Biopsy of these nodes or By Excision Biopsy with Histopah studies.

You need to check with your Physician/Surgeon and check with your ENT Surgeon to rule out above and all related causes for such a lump with 2 mths flu like symptoms.

Hope this reply would help you to plan treatment with your doctors and resolve your worries.
Will appreciate writing excellent review comments to help the needy patient visitors like you at HCM.

Welcome any further query and information in this regard.
Good Day!!
