What Does Small, Reddish Ball With Whitish Stuff Followed By Onset Of Periods Mean?
Today I noticed while going to the bathroom that there was a small, pea-sized, reddish ball in the toilet, covered in a whiteish goo stuff. I didn t pay much attention, but then later, again while in the restroom, i wiped, and noticed what I think is blood coming from my vagina. I imagined I was just starting my period, but it made me wonder about the red ball from earlier. This would be my first period and I am not sexually active.
You do not have to worry, it is normal. That reddish ball may be a clotted blood from your period or tissue from the lining of your uterus which is a normal part of your menstruation.
Since this is normal, there is no treatment with this. However, these blood clots may vary in size and colour.
Sometimes it can be larger than the size of a pea and darker in colour. You may also feel pain on the first days of your period. This is called dysmenorrhea which most girls experience and is normal.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
