What Does Soft Lump Covering Vaginal Opening Indicate?

i had this soft lump covering my vaginal opening which i thought was my hymen, but that didnt make sense because i m sexually active and can still insert tampons, etc. it was a bit uncomfty to touch or rub, and the other day during sexual acivities it was pushed very hard. it now looks deflated in a way and is very uncomftable pretty much 24/7. it ranges from itchy to sore to just uncomrtable. especially when touched.
