What Does Sore An Red Rash In Vagina Area After Child Birth Imply?

I had a baby 8 weeks ago and am getting a really bad odour down below. I have never had this before only since having my baby boy. I had a natural birth but did have to have a episiotomy. I still feel a little sore but have noticed that it seems a bit swollen below and have a small red rash on the inside of my leg near the area. Will this go or should i go to the drs?
