What Does Sores On Head Of Penis After Having Unprotected Sex Mean?

Hello there, I had sex 3 days ago on new year, and two days after my friend and I had sex, I had some pain on my penis, but didn't think much of it at the time, but later that day, when i went to the bathroom to pee, i pulled the foreskin all the way back (im uncircumcised if that changes anything) and it revealed just under the head of my penis, was 3 or 4 sores, like little ulcers or burst blisters. Now today i noticed a few more, 1 more under the head of my penis, and 2 more on the foreskin on the shaft when i pull the foreskin back. My friend or partner was just a one night stand, and we didn't use protection. So can anyone help me out? I'm fearing for the worst which is genital herpes.

These sores, the way you describe them, do seem that they are herpetic in origin. Herpes has a short incubation period varying from 2-12 days.
Unprotected sex with a friend 3 days preceding the sores is the likely source of infection.
Genital herpes classically presents as multiple, grouped, discrete sores on the genital mucosa. The sores are usually painful.
There may be burning sensation on passing urine specially when the urine comes into contact with the sores.
Treatment of an episode of genital herpes is with Oral antivirals like Acyclovir, Famciclovir Or valacyclovir.
I will suggest that you visit a specialist for a confirmatory diagnosis as well as appropriate prescription.
Since unprotected sex is a risk factor for transmission of all STD's therefore testing for other STD's is also advisable i,e syphilis, HIV, gonorrhea, chlamydia etc
