What Does Spitting Up Brown Phlegm Indicate?

Hi, I am 30 yrs old male. I have been spitting brownish spit in the morning for 6months, after the intial spitting the saliva is of normal color. And sometimes I can feel like im chocking. But im not losing weight.

Kindly advice me what to do?

Hello

Please meet your ent doctor or dentist , the brown colour is likely to be due to some bleeding in your upper airway /gums . This can be due to a variety of reasons like an infection, gum swelling etc. You will need to be examined for the site of bleeding and treated accordingly.
Meanwhile i would like you to start rinsing your mouth with chlorhexidine mouth wash 23 times a day.
