What Does Spotting And Stomach Cramps While On Depo Mean?

I'm on my third month of the depo shot I hav'nt got my period at all. It was due last week, but starting yesterday I have been spotting really dark brown and when I pee dark tissue like stuff comes out. I have also been having really bsd stomach cramps. What could this mean? Is it normal?

Hi,

Depo injection is long acting hormonal contraceptive. It is known to cause irregular periods, profuse, scanty or absence of periods also. Your symptoms are due to side effect of the injection. It would decrease day by day over the time. You can take pain pill over the counter for the cramps as and when required.
