What Does Spotting, Lower Back Pain, Tired After Unprotected Sex Indicate?

hi i had a mc on the 25th sept,one week after the bleeding was done i had unprotected intercourse,6 days after i found a tiny spot of blood on my underwear and i start having mild lower back pain,the pain didn t stoped from that day and i feel very tired ,i know it s to early for home pregnancy test i already did a few but they are negative,could i be pregnant?

Hi,

According to your history the possibility of pregnancy cannot be excluded in your case as you had unprotected intercourse around the time of ovulation. The spotting you are having could be due to implantation bleeding according to the history. But premenstrual spotting can also present like this.

Also, minimal abdominal cramps can be seen in both the conditions. To come to one conclusion, please go for a blood test for pregnancy after 2 weeks of unprotected intercourse. Serum beta hCG levels after less than 5 mIU/mL excludes the possibility of pregnancy. Whereas serum beta HCG levels of more than 25 mIU/mL, confirms the possibility of pregnancy.
