What Does Spotting While On Alesse Indicate?

Yes I was been on alesse 28 for about 6 months and all of a sudden iam having spotting and I have 6 pink pills left before the period ones..I also noticed I missed 2 pills some where this month ...idk wat to think any ideas ...iam on birth control to try and regulate my periods

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
You are having spotting mainly because you have missed some pills in between, which has caused hormonal imbalance.
But nothing to worry about. It should regularise in the next period. Kindly take the remaining medications left over and see that you take the pills regularly at the same time everyday for the pills to be effective.
In case you are sexually active, get a urine pregnancy test done to rule out the possibility of pregnancy.
