What Does Stinging Sensation During Urination Indicate?
Dear sir / madam I am mrinmiy basu. Four days before i feel that have very very mute sting feeling at the time of pee. I have gone to the doctor he presribe me alksasol ( di sodium hydrogen sulfate ) but no result . Then i test my urine as per his instruction . Results are follows Color- pale straw. Sp gravity- 1.020. Reaction acidic - 6.5..albumin - nill..sugar -nill..phosphate -nill..ketone bodie s - nill..blood - nill. Pus cell- occasional. Rbc - nil.. Crystal-nil Bacteria - (+) yeast cell - nill . What i have to do now.?? I am worrying pls give me some.suggestionn. Is that any thing wrong ?
These symptoms are suggestive of uroinfection and this is common in your age and usually is manifested with pain during urination, fever and changes in urination frequency.
Also, blood traces may be present in urine which can have odour or colour change.
Other common cause are urinary stones. Diagnosis is established by doing urine analysis and urinoculture and after this antibiotic treatment may be started if necessary.
If there is negative urine analysis then you should do ultrasound of kidneys to check for stones. You should drink plenty of fluids and take raspberry tea or juice to promote urination.
