General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted your short history of having Globus Pharyngeus for 2 weeks, endoscopy showing sub-mucosal hemorrhages in fundus, mild erosion in antrum, worried and wants to know whether this is possible by H pylori infection.
First of all, get the test for H. pylori infection and if positive then the Doctor would treat you well with H. pylori Kit tablets for 1 - 2 weeks to eradicate the infection.
Also needed is a PPI which will be continued after the Kit is completed.
Antacids when on empty stomach.
Soft bland diet in small but frequent way.
Avoid stress and anxiety as these can increase the problems.
The sub-mucosal hemorrhages indicate that there is active gastritis and the above treatment will help to get cure for both the problems.
Pro-kinetic like Domperidone if there is any evidence of GERD as seen by symptoms of Globus Pharyngeus.
Take care properly and you will be fine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
