What Does Sudden Severe Pain In Ear With Flu Symptoms And Fever Suggest?
My boyfriend is screaming in pain suddenly from his ear hurting after flu symptoms and a constant fever that wont break. The flu symptoms have occured for a few days, the ear pain just started suddenly about two hours ago and he is never been like this, screaming like he is a woman in labor, os it possible that coughing or blowing hia nose could have busted his ear drum? Bc he went to er today, for the fever, before the ear pain, and they checked his ears then and said he had no ear infection
I am Dr.Nitasha Khan. I have read you question completely, i understand your concern and will try to help you in best way possible.
thts a possiblity tht he culd hv torn his ear drum but tht occurs by immense pressure ....so if you thnk he has blown his nose way too hard than it culd hv happend also it can be an ear infection traveled by flu to nose he needs to start anti biotics but what wil help him wil be to take olive or mustard oil crush a garlic and fry the garlic in a table spoon of tht oil amd put a drop of tht oil only in ear and u wil see the relief he has frm pain
I hope this answered your question. If you have more queries I am happy to answer.Otherwise rate and close the discussion
