What Does Swelling After Trimalleolar Fracture Surgery Suggest?

Hi I m 55 year old male weight 78 kj. 3 months I had undergone trimollear fracture surgery . Recently the ct scan reports show the the the screw were short in length, however dr who operated me advised me to stand with 50/ weight bearing.... I am doing this ad per the advise but still the swelling has not gone ... Pls suggest that does the rehabilitation. Process tAkes longer time or is the operation has negligence factor involved on part if the doctor

Swelling after trimalleolar surgery is normal, just continue with physiotherapy, hot fomentation, and limb elevation.
