What Does Swelling Behind The Neck Indicate?

doctor behind my neck close to my shoulder is swollen but not painful...but down on my shoulder and upper back by the right side I feel pain so much..i feel cold inside the bone, including the right hand and mostly feel one sided sharp headache and nausea nd fatigue in the morning....but at the swollen area no pain only the shoulder hand and joint aching...I m afraid that s not HIV symptoms...I got tested twice last month with alere combo it came out all negative...and again doctor sometimes I feel so sensitive to light in my eyes

Hello,

As per your clinical history, is concerned please follow like this and it is not related to HIV -
1) Do a clinical examination by your doctor [Neurologist] and rule out other pathological conditions do an MRI scan.
2) Discuss with your doctor preventive medication like [Amitriptyline] which you need to take it regularly.
Do follow lifestyle modifications like this-
1) Try to avoid triggers. If certain foods or odors seem to have triggered your headaches in the past, avoid them.
2) Try to reduce your caffeine and alcohol intake and avoid tobacco.
3) Try to establish a daily routine with regular sleep patterns and regular meals. In addition, try to control stress.
4) Do exercise regularly. Regular aerobic exercise reduces tension and can help prevent headaches. If your doctor agrees, choose any aerobic exercise you enjoy, including walking, swimming, and cycling.
