What Does Swelling In The Area Of Tooth Extraction Suggest?

hello mam,very good evening and thank you.I am absolutely fine.The problem is almost gone except 0.09% of internal swelling in the jaw from where the tooth is removed.it is also going slowly.From outside it is not visible only by touching one can feel.Thank you once again,Its so nice of you.

Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your complain the swelling after tooth extraction is due to inflammation causing INFLAMMATORY SWELLING and it resolves in 3 to 4 days after extraction..

In case if the swelling is resolving slowly and there is formation of a small lump then it can be Hematoma formation, that occurs due to rupture of small blood vessels during extraction..

It is nothing serious as it will gradually subside..

You should do alternate warm and cool packs over the swollen region and nothing else is needed..
