What Does Swelling In The Left Arm Indicate?

Hello, Had a triple by pass 3 months ago, feeling way better (58 years old ) yesterday was doing some yard work for about 1/2 digging . An artery was removed from left arm from wrist to elbow to use, any way arm became swollen when working in yard , wend down about 1/2 after I stopped working , just curious . Thanks
