What Does Swelling In The Liver On An Ultrasound Report Suggest?

Hi, I was having stomach pain for last two days and vomiting 2-3 times at night, a doctor asked me to get Ultrasound done and the report says that there is swelling in my liver and has given medicine for that. I don t consume alcohol. Can you please tell me is it something serious or it can get cured easily?

Thanks for posting on health magic and as per information provided by you swelling of liver suggests inflammatory conditions of the liver
Any infection of the liver can be there
And it is a cause for concern
I would also like to advice you for some blood tests like LFT, HBsAg, esr
