What Does Swelling In The Lower Abdomen On The Left Side Indicate?
my daughter is six month ,she has lft side lower part kidney swell, she is under treat ,they did mag3 renal scan they found obstruction, they are saying she have blockage in uretor, but when they did its call cystoscopy they said its not blockage on there, they asked her to do mra urogrovy ,in this case actually we are looking second opinion, is there any chance to damage her kidney?
The swelling is due to a blockage that does not allow urine to come down to the urinary bladder for normal urination. If this condition prolongs, it can damage the kidney.
A cystoscopy examines the lower part of the urinary system. Since, the cystoscopy report was normal, it is possible that the problem is in the upper part of the urinary system.
To understand the problem and avoid renal damage, an MRI scan should be done as soon as possible. Renal repair can be done accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
