Yes, I feel like my throat is swollen all the time, i have burning in my chest and like my glands are swollen and its more difficult to swallow and feels tight around my neck where my glands are. I m not sure if its just stress, or alcholo related, since i drink too much, or both. Any advice ?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have swelling in the throat which is because of infection travel down the respiratory track and affected whole area an leads to tonsillitis/ granular pharyngitis and sinusitis. Do warm saline gargles on daily basis. You should put xylomist nasal drops to prevent congestion. You should take hot soup along with along with lemon tea with ginger extract. I would suggest you to again consult your ENT specialist for proper examination. He/she may prescribe further antibiotic course and stronger antibiotics. Take combination of amoxicillin along with Levocetrizine. Doctor may also recommend tonsillectomy. Take diet rich in vitamin C. Take decongestant nasal sprays containing mucinex for instant relief.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
