What Does Swelling In The Vagina Indicate?

hi doc,i have a pressing problem,i am about four months pregnant,with an itchy clitoris and labia,its really uncomfortable ,i scratched my clitoris earlier today only to find some blood on my pants,and when i looked in the minor i found my clitoris and labia really swollen,could it be a sign of a miscarriage?

Hello,

Your symptoms are suggestive of fungal/less possibly bacterial infection. Try Clotrimazole powder application twice daily after taking shower with lukewarm water for two days.

If symptoms still persist, consult a gynecologist to rule out other pregnancy complications.
