What Does Swelling On Celiac Plexus Area Indicate?
Hi! i got a peasized hard swellign at my solar plexus area. its not really painful unless i press quite hard. i am 38 years old and i might have also had it but have a feelign i felt it for the first time a few weeks ago - also i got problems with my gall bladder sometimes - could this be related?
The celiac plexus or coeliac plexus, also known as the solar plexus because of its radiating nerve fibers, is a complex network of nerves (a nerve plexus) located in the abdomen, near where the celiac trunk, superior mesenteric artery, and renal arteries branch from the abdominal aorta. See your doctor if you see swelling or experience pain in the solar plexus area that hasn’t gone away after one week. Yes, It could be related to conditions like pancreatitis or any gall bladder pathology.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
