General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Please mention whether the swelling is superficial or its deep-seated lesion. If needed to rule out nature of the lesion, then FNAC (Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology) or biopsy can be taken.

Kindly mention whether the history of trauma present or not. If it is a traumatic lesion, then it will subside with time. Consult the physician for examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
