What Does Swollen, Discolored Foot With Blisters And Cold Toes Mean?

Well my husband was moving furniture and I m not exactly sure what happened but some how he got hurt bad. His left foot is swollen really bad and almost black. It s got a huge blister on the bottom of his foot and many blood marks on his toes and foot but he s not bleeding. He s now telling me that his foot is really cold and I touched his toes and they are freezing... What s going on??? Should I have him rushed to the emergency room, he s in so much pain he can barely breathe.
