What Does Swollen Lymph Node In Neck Indicate?

Hi, I have a swollen lymph node in my neck (an RN told me it was a lymph node). It is on the left side, in the posterior cervical area from what I can tell. I am worried it might be lymphoma since I can be a little paranoid. It is not tender or painful and it moves a little when you push it around. Help!

hello, thanks for ur query, it seems that you might be having painless lymph node enlargement lt sided posterior part of neck could be due to middle ear infections, scalp infections, pediculosis or something else. you need to undergo fine needle aspiration cytalogy( fnac) , which will give definitive cause and guidence for treatment. all the best. take care.
