What Does Swollen Meatus On Tip Of Penis Causing Irritation Mean?

Just a little background before I begin, I'm 17 years old, and I definitely do not have an STD.

On the tip of my penis, the meatus is swollen and red and it sort of looks like lips. It gets very irritated touching my boxers and doesn't really burn when I pee, maybe for the first second or two, but that's it. Is there anyway to reverse this? It just started occurring about 2 weeks ago and is only getting worse.

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.

I suspect the two possible causes
1. Infection.
As this is not associated with any burning urination, this could not be a cause.
But we have to rule out any infection by routine urine and blood tests.
2. Irritation of under wears.
As she have the problem only in the tip of penis. Frequent friction and irritation of underwear may cause inflammation and irritation.

My advice is to rule out any infection by routine urine and blood tests.
Use any soft and cotton underwear to avoid irritation.
