What Does Symptoms Of Sore Throat And Muscles, No Appetite And Frequent Urination Means?

Hi, I m 19 years old, have recently developed a sore throat (no redness or puss visible though), have been lethargic, sore muscles, little/no appetite (the thought/smell of food makes me want to vomit), and have been urinating almost 4x the normal amount (without intaking more than usual) The symptoms took approx. 24 hrs. to fully develop.

Hi welcome to the health care magic

You are having acute pharyngitis, it might be viral or bacterial

Your work up done in following ways
-Auscultation
-ASO titer
-CBC

If bacterial infection suspected from above work up Amoxiclav like antibiotic full course given

Steam inhalation done two times a day

Salt water gargle two times a day

Use hot water for drinking

Take phenylephrine like decongestant drug for five day

Take vitamin C lozenges for chewing for three to four lozenges per day for three to five days

Avoid excess spicy foods

Muscle soreness can be from constitutional symptom

Take care

Consult physician for examination
