Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... I have an ECG report that I am trying to interpret. Vent rate 68 bpm ,PR Interval 172 ms ,QRS duration 88ms,QT/QTc 396/421 ms, P-R-T axes 71 67 -9 Beside all of this it says Normal sinus rhythm Nonspecific T wave abnormality Abnormal ECG This ECG is for a 53 year old female. Can you help me with this?
Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you should not worry much about this ECG. As all parameters are normal. When T wave inversion is more than 1 mm then it is known as significant t wave abnormality. And this indicates myocardial ischaemia. So in your ECG t wave abnormality is nonspecific. So no need to worry for this. Nonspecific T wave abnormality can be seen in 1. Normal individual 2. Old age So her ecg us normal, no need to worry for nonspecific t wave abnormality.
