What Does The MRI Report Indicate?

I am 88 years old and in good health a few weeks ago I had a stomach virus with direaha only ver sick. Sick for about 5 days went to dr got a ggt blood test all labs were good but this one. WS sent for a ultrasound and showed a 3 cm mass went for a mri showed 2.6 lesion an read mri favored infection or abscess should i take that as gospel.. I have started an antibodic.

Well its not very clear from your question what your mri report indicated,where the lesion was arising from.If its an abscess like your report indicated then i hope u had undergone a contrast MRI.
