Had an MRI of my Left Knee after fall on concrete, hit Patella 7 mths ago, pain knee with locking & giving out. MRI showed partial ACL thickness tear, cyst behind Posterior CL, all other ligaments, meniscis intact but, with Red Bone Marrow conversion or possible underlying systemic problem
Your knee MRI report is explained below. 1. partial ACL thickness tear This is due to injury and the anterior cruciate ligament (binding bones at knee joint) has got torn partially.
3. all other ligaments, meniscis intact This is a normal finding.
4. Red Bone Marrow conversion or possible underlying systemic problem Bone marrow activity is higher than normal. A complete blood hemogram can be done.

What Does The MRI Report Of Left Knee Indicate?
Hi, Thanks for writing in. Your knee MRI report is explained below. 1. partial ACL thickness tear This is due to injury and the anterior cruciate ligament (binding bones at knee joint) has got torn partially. 2. cyst behind Posterior CL There might be a small benign cyst behind posterior cruciate ligament. This is not a concern. 3. all other ligaments, meniscis intact This is a normal finding. 4. Red Bone Marrow conversion or possible underlying systemic problem Bone marrow activity is higher than normal. A complete blood hemogram can be done.
