What Does The MRI Report Regarding Post Acoustic Neuroma Indicate?

I had operated for Acoustic Neuroma 7 years ago. I have a MRI recently and I want to understand two things mentioned on the report. First "there is evidence of abnormal signal intensity area in the region of right CP angle which appear hypointense on T1W1 while hyperintense on T2W1 showing no enhancement on post contrast study. The area is associated with exvacaue dilation of 4th ventricle. Appearance is attributed to post surgical changes."

Second "Multiple T2W1/FLAIR hyperintense foci identified in bilateral periventricular as well as subcortical deep white matter region consistent with ischemic infarct."

I have no significant ischemic symptoms though.

Thank you for your question on HCM. I would like to know your age. 1st point of your MRI is obvious after surgery so no need to worry. About 2nd point, multiple ischemic infarct with out symptoms, this can be seen in old age due to senile changes in blood vessels. Other possibility is high lipids cause atherosclerosis and block the tiny vessels in the brain and cause infarct. So get done s.lipid levels and if high start statins. You can also start low dose aspirin. Don't wait for symptoms start treatment.
