What Does The Nuclear Imaging Test Result Indicate?
I Had Nuclear Myocardial perfusion imaging done last Tuesday, June 10. Got results today, no change from the Nuclear Imaging test done after my first heart attack. I have three stents, a midway block in the vessel in the back of my heart and very little scarring in the very bottom of my heart and heart pumping rate of 45. Results today show Left Ventricular ejection fraction was calculated at 51% up from 45% during the first test. I m taking 80 mg Atrovastian for cholesterol control, but lipids are bad. What do I do? I m active and eat reasonably, jus toff the reservation occasionally. NO booze, never been a drinker but do smoke two cigarettes a day.
Hello, welcome to health care magic. Congratulations on the good report of nuclear imaging. You should avoid smoking as it aldo has bad effect on lipid levels. You have not written which lipid levels are bad but smoking cessation will surely help.
