What Does The SVT During Stress Test Is Around 156 Suggest?
I am 37 yrs old. 129 lbs. I went to the Er two months ago for shortness of breath, chest pain, dizziness. They said I had SVT and gave me Atenonol. Since I've had stress test, ecocardiogram and 24 hr monitor on my heart. The cardiologists says everything came out normal except I did go into SVT during the stress test 156 beats per minute. I also have controlled GERD that I have been taking meds for. Problem is I continue have chest pressure and heaviness that is there every day throughout. No relief! What can be wrong?
I went through your details. Supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) arises from improper electrical activity of the heart which presents as a rapid heart rhythm. Don't be alarmed about it. Your cardiologist know how to interpret it. If he said nothing to worry about, then you have nothing to worry.
The tightness of your chest could be due to the anxiety arised out of this stress test and other ordeals. Also you have GERD. GERD is also capable to produce chest tightness symptom. Exercise and diet can help you overcome GERD and psychotherapy and breathing help you overcome your anxiety.
