What Does The TMT Report Of My Wife Indicate?

During regular health check up the TMT report of my wife read as tmt is borderline positive for inducible ischemia at the workload achieved . Also the ECG reports read as ST-T depression in inferior - lateral lead . Kindly advise. Her other reports such as blood, cholestrol, etc are normal though.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

TMT report is suggestive of developing Ischemia. She should maintain a low BMI, avoid sedentary life, exercise regularly. She will be treated according to the severity of the symptoms & pathology detected. If needed the cardiologist may suggest Angioplasty, stenting, etc. She should avoid stress & anxiety, smoking & addictions if any.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
