What Does The X-RAY Report Indicate?

Hi! My daughter had a right shoulder X-RAY and was diagnosed with a downward arching acromion and mild thoracolumbar curvature less than 10 degrees. Our primary physician sais that there is nothing to do except avoiding any activities. But when I did research I read a lot of articles where they talk about fixing the injured fractures and joints with a sling. What do you suggest to do in a situation like this? Thanks in advance.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your problem can be tackled in two ways
- Regular physiotherapy with nutritional supplements (calcium, iron, vitamin D, multivitamins &minerals preparations. If done regularly within few years, this method is sure to respond positively.
- Surgical intervention - this also needs post operative restricted movements with mild physiotherapy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
