What Does The Absence Of Menstruation After Stopping Primolut N Indicate?

Hi doctor. I had taken primolute n tablets for 3 days- 1 on each day to postpone menstruation. After stopping taking tablets, 4 days have already passed but till now there is no sign of menstruation. I want to ask u, how long it takes to start period normally after stopping tablet intake?

Hello,

It is very important to take Primolut-N correctly. Ideally three tablets a day should be taken starting three to four days before you expect your period to begin. It should not be taken for more than 10-14 days. After you stop taking the medicine, period should come within 3-4 days. If you don't get periods after taking the course of the medicine it may be indicative of pregnancy if you are sexually active or any other pathology. You should take a pregnancy test or visit a gynecologist to confirm pregnancy or any other existing pathology. You will be treated accordingly.
