What Does The Bilirubin Level Of 5.95 In An Adult Indicate?

Hi dr, i m suffering from jaundice last 15 days..my bilrubin level is 5.95 as per blood test report of last saturday .how long will it take to recover and have my old diet..my ultrasound report says mild week liver nd gallblader As i m working girl nd this time on medical leave ..when can i join nd which food i should prefer so i cud recover soon.this time i m.having dalia bolied rice & patotoes

I really appreciate your concern, such infection of liver may take couple of weeks to come around and you can have all the light diet which is low in calorie and high in protein and this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
