What Does The Blood Sugar Reading Suggest?

Hello I am so far as I know not diabetic. My wife is type 2 and I decided to take a evening test after dinner. I had a vanilla shake, onion rings, chili dog. This was around 7 pm. I tested at 9:20pm. Also around 4 to 5 I had a Salisbury steak tv dinner and a beer. I also been stressed today as I am a supervisor. I am 53 male at about 198 lbs my reading was 156

Diabetes can be diagnosed based on fasting readings, 2 hour post meal readings and HbA1C.

Your 2 hour reading is in the pre diabetic zone. Pre diabetics do not have full blown diabetes but are at risk of developing diabetes.

It would be best , however to have an official test done.

Increase in physical activity and change in diet can cause changes in blood sugars.
