What Does The Blood Work Result Indicate?

3 months and 2 days ago, I went for my annual check-up.My blood was taken from my finger at my doctor office. I had already had my breakfast. The computer reading horrified me. Triglyceride - 610.??? On deaths door ! Was immediately put on Fenofibrate. Today received blood work results from Laboratory and Tri are 165. Does this make sense and should I continue with Fenofibrate meds. ? YYYY@YYYY

Hello,

So ideally sample for lipid profile should be taken in a fasting state. I think the result were elevated as you had undergone breakfast. You can discontinue fenofibrate after discussing your doctor.
