What Does The Brain MRI Scan Report Indicate?

Hello Doctor, My mother has breast cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. She had several occurences of TIA in the past few months. The breast oncologist suggested to meet a neurologist who in turn advised to take few diagnostic tests and MRI Brain with IV contrast study. The reports of MRI Brain scan revealed that the cancer has spread to the brain. The neurologist advised to meet to breast oncologist who in turn advised to meet the medical oncologist. I am not sure how the cancer spread to the brain inspite of several doctors providing cancer care treatment to my mother.
