What Does The Dark Period-like Discharge Indicate?
Hi I have a question about my latest period and birth control. I ve been on microgestin for about 4 months now I take it daily at the same time daily. I just got over my last period, although it wasn t much of a period it was more of a really dark discharge but it started and ended on the days that my period usually happens. And I just wanted to know if it was normal?

The brown discharge could be just a signal of some hormonal changes developed by birth control pills. In most cases brown discharge is usually old blood. Anyway, if you had unprotected sexual intercourse, I also suggest to do a pregnancy test to exclude the possibility of a pregnancy.
