What Does The Doctors Mean By Pain Medications Have Been Compromised?

ok, i was told recently that my doctor will no longer fill my pain pills because my pain pills have been compromised. now i have followed my script how im suppose to take it on the bottle and done everything i am supose to do. i just want to know what it means when they say my pain meds have been compromised. i dont understand.
