What Does The Firm Mass By The Navel Indicate?
so I have a firm mass beside of my bellybutton. it is not very large and does not hurt. i am concerned considering all my life I will get headaches which are not severe. I also had nosebleeds but they have gotten more rare as time goes by. but lately I have been very tired and have had some nausea. any ideas on what is wrong with me. or what this mass on my stomach is? Noted your history of varied symptoms and findings like mass behind navel, headaches, nosebleeds, nausea and tiredness.
The cause of a firm mass under belly button can be anything of the following:
Umbilical granuloma.
Hernia.
Patent cysts of congenital origin.
This can be diagnosed by clinical examination by a General Surgeon, Ultrasonography and necessary tests and get operated if indicated.
Tiredness and nausea along with other symptoms can be due to multiple medical problems which needs proper clinical evaluation by a Physician, relevant investigations and assessment to get a proper diagnosis so that a proper management can be done.
Till then take multivitamins, mineral and trace elements as supplements, have nutritious diet.
