I am having sinus surgery tomorrow. Can you define some of the terms used by the doctor to describe the procedures being done? Bilateral maxillary antrostomy w. removal of tissue bilateral and frontal. Sinusotomy with total ethenoidectomy, bilateral sphenoidotomy w. removal of tissues, septoplasty bilateral w. removal of tissue, bilateral inferior turbinate submucus resection , left concha bullosa takedown. Antrostomy= frontal half of maxillary sinus to be removed with soft tissue.
