I have enlarged tonsils, jaw, neck, nose, face, maxillary pain for a year, extracted all my teeth. Made P.N.S CT... 1. Polypoidal mucosal thickening is seen involving left and to less extent right maxillary sinuses encroaching on their alveolar recesses. 2. Mild ethmoidal sinus mucosal thickening is also noted. 3. Otherwise, no other paranasal sinuses abnormality could be detected with preserved bony outline and osteomeatal complexes. 4. S shaped deviated nasal septum is also seen. 5. The nasopharynx looks normal.
this report shows that you have inflammation of the para nasal sinuses which can be considered mild. the second finding is that you have a deviated nasal septum. this may cause nasal blockage and if you experience recurrent obstructive symptoms, you need to get it corrected which can be done easily in ENT OT.
