If a new patient came to you with CT results that read as follows what would be your opinion on how to proceed? With my insurance getting a second specialist opinion is nearly impossible so I just want to explore all my options. CT Results~ Impression: 1. Aplasia of the frontal sinuses, mild bilateral ethmoidal disease, 3 mm polyp or retention cyst in the right maxillary sinus 2. Hypertrophy of the left middle turbinate and both inferior turbinates 3. Significant spurring of the posterior nasal septum with deviation to the right. Slight deviation of the anterior aspect of the septum. 4. Tiny pockets of air present in the tongue area as well as tiny pockets of air anterior to the maxilla and mandible. Unexplained. Clinical correlation suggested..
